The Law of Consciousness

One of the most comforting and revolutionary truths I've encountered in life is the Law of Consciousness.

‍

This spiritual law reveals that

"Consciousness is the one and only reality",

as Christian mystic, Neville Goddard would say it.

‍

I say, we are all carriers and shapers of consciousness-substance, from which life proceeds and intermingles with others in a co-creative demonstration.

‍

In a nutshell: Life produces from the inside - out!

‍

This law of life is not necessarily based on various religious ideas of right and wrong, but rather, it is rooted in one's own repetitive thoughts, beliefs, feelings and inner talking as the substance-shaper of one's life experiences.

‍

Dr. Joseph Murphy made it clear in his writings by repeatedly showing us that

"the law of life is the law of belief".

‍

Jesus gave us the bedrock insight into operating the Law of Consciousness masterfully. He said,

"Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength...and love your neighbor as yourself" (Mark 12:30-31).

‍

In another instance, he said,

"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you" (Matthew 7:12).

‍

Couple those passages with other sayings of Jesus:

"All things are possible to the one who believes" (Mark 9:23)

plus

"according to your faith be it done unto you" (Matthew 9:29)

and you have the platform for working with the law of consciousness to shape life that reflects more of the heavenly realm.

‍

This is a challenge to many of our worldviews that put the power for demonstration somewhere outside of ourselves.  These are hard sayings to accept for many because it makes each of us responsible for our own state of being, and at the same time prods us to care for others in loving ways. ‍

‍

Mixing our faith-substance (the activity of our minds, hearts, chronic thoughts, visualizations, inner talking, beliefs, etc.) with love for God, self and others is the pathway for fulfilling the coming of heaven to earth!

‍

This was Jesus' prayer that he taught his followers to pray:

"Thy kingdom come; thy will be done ON EARTH, AS IT IS IN HEAVEN!" (See Matthew 6:10.)

‍

Everyday,  we have another opportunity to be conduits through which the heavenly realm may express more of itself. God knows, the world needs it!

‍

Affirm with me: ‍

‍

"I now see myself as a vessel through which Heaven's Life and beauty may be expressed.  I avail my mind, heart and imagination to the activity of love, wholeness, mending and well-being. Today, Great Spirit of Life, surge through my entire being that I might reflect your wholeness in my words, actions and self-concept. Now enable me to be a light in someone else's life, even as your light illumines my own path forward. Let it be so. Amen."
